Job summary

GTE in Melbourne is seeking an experienced HC Interstate Driver to join a trusted smallgoods business delivering across state lines. This role focuses on safe, on-time distribution to supermarkets, cafés and food service channels.

You will operate HC trucks, perform pre-trip checks, maintain logs and uphold safety standards. The ideal candidate brings an MC license, proven interstate refrigerated freight experience, and strong communication to service customers and depots.

Qualifications

• Current MC driver's license with a strong driving record.
• Proven experience operating HC vehicles, preferably interstate refrigerated freight transport.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate HC vehicles to transport refrigerated smallgoods interstate.

They are seeking experienced HC Interstate Drivers on permanent basis that will offer the opportunity to be a key part of our growing operations, delivering essential goods across state lines.

What you'll be doing

Safely operating HC vehicles to transport refrigerated Smallgoods interstate, NSW, SA predominately Woolworth, Coles and Various DC's

Adhering to all traffic regulations, load restraint and safety protocols

Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

Maintaining accurate trip logs and documentation

Providing excellent customer service and timely delivery of goods

Collaborating with the Depot Managers to ensure efficient and reliable transport services

What we're looking for

Current MC driver's license with a strong driving record

Proven experience operating HC vehicles, preferably in interstate general refrigerated freight transport
