Roadmaster Refrigerated Transport – Orange NSW is hiring HC Drivers on a casual basis. Immediate start available with notice periods accepted.

This role offers the chance to work with a dedicated team in a leading refrigerated transport company. As an HC Driver, you will deliver goods across the region, ensure safe loading and unloading, comply with transport regulations, and maintain high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Valid HC licence required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in road transport (refrigerated experience preferred).
• Ability to pass medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
• Ability to operate refrigerated transport safely.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain refrigerated transport to deliver goods on time and in good condition.
• Adhere to road transport regulations and company policies.
• Monitor vehicle performance and conduct regular inspections.
• Assist with loading and unloading at pickup and delivery points.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
• Collaborate with transport team to ensure seamless operations.

About the role

As a HC Driver, you will play a crucial role in our road transport operations, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of goods across the region. Key Responsibilities

• Safely operating and maintaining refrigerated transport vehicles to deliver goods on time and in perfect condition
• Adhering to all relevant road transport regulations and company policies to ensure compliance
• Monitoring vehicle performance and conducting regular inspections to identify and address any issues
• Assisting with the loading and unloading of goods at pickup and delivery points
• Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining positive relationships with clients
• Collaborating with the broader transport and logistics team to ensure seamless operations

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

• Valid HC Licence
• Minimum 1 years experience in Road Transport (Refrigerated Transport experience high regarded)
• Ability to provide a current traffic report
• Physical fitness for manual unloading
• Ability to operate a heavy vehicle in a professional & safe manner
• A punctual, reliable and courteous approach to all tasks
• Ability to pass a medical examination, including drug and alcohol testing
• A willingness to learn and be trained on electronic equipment, such as tablets, for reporting and monitoring driving hours
