OBrienco Transport Pty Ltd in Toowoomba is seeking an experienced Interstate MC Driver to join our team for adhoc nationwide runs, with a depot on the West side of Toowoomba. You will focus on safety, quality and reliable service for customers across Australia.

Operate heavy vehicles including semi-trailers, B-doubles and road trains, maintain logs, and collaborate with the logistics team to optimise schedules.

Formación

• 2+ years interstate MC/HC driving experience
• Overnight express work experience desirable
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays
• Understanding of CoR, NHVR & WAHVA requirements
• Access connotes via Email, Text message and Driver App
• Willingness to grow with the business

About this role

OBrienco Transport are seeking experienced Interstate MC Operators to join our dynamic team. As an Interstate MC Driver, you will play a crucial role in servicing our customers around Australia with a focus around Quality and Safety. We have a full-time position on offer, with our depot based on the West side of Toowoomba, this role specifically is for drivers to support our adhoc runs around the country, with customers in nearly all states and territories.

What you'll be doing

Safely operating heavy vehicles of all configurations including semi-trailers, B-doubles and Road Trains to transport General Goods and Temperature Controlled Freight across multiple industries and in all states and territories.

Ensuring equipment is kept clean and in good condition ensuring OBrienco's Brand image is kept at a high standard.

Adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies to uphold our focus of Safety & Quality.

Conducting pre-trip inspections and ensuring the proper maintenance of your assigned vehicle in accordance with NHVR & WAHVA.

Providing excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and colleagues.

Maintaining detailed logs and records of your driving activities; logbooks, timesheets, connotes etc.

Collaborating with the logistics team to optimise delivery schedules, routes and Growth.

What we're looking for

EWD and Transvirtual used, training provided

A valid MC driver's licence with a clean driving history

Overnight express work experience, desirable, not mandatory

Produce and Market experience, desirable, not mandatory

Experience (at least 2 years) driving interstate MC and HC vehicles

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Understanding of CoR, NHVR & WAHVA requirements and processes

The ability to access connotes via Email, Text message and Driver App.
