Brisbane City Council is seeking a Console Support Officer in the Network Coordination Centre (NCC) to help keep the city’s public transport moving safely and efficiently.

Transport for Brisbane plays an important role in keeping Brisbane moving by delivering safe, reliable and customer-focused public transport services.
The Network Coordination Centre (NCC), within Transport Operations, provides real-time operational coordination and incident management across the public transport network. The NCC works closely with transport operators, depots, Translink, emergency services and other stakeholders to monitor service delivery, respond to incidents and disruptions, support frontline employees and minimise impacts to customers.
As a Console Support Officer within the Network Coordination Centre (NCC), you will help keep Brisbane's public transport network moving safely and efficiently.
Working in a fast-paced operational environment, you will monitor public transport services in real time, communicate with frontline employees and coordinate responses to incidents, service disruptions and emerging network issues.
You will assess information as situations develop, determine appropriate actions within established procedures, maintain accurate operational records and escalation significant issues when required. You will regularly communicate with transport operators, depot teams, Translink, emergency services and other internal and external stakeholders.
The role requires you to manage competing priorities while remaining calm and professional, particularly when dealing with critical incidents or situations affecting employee, passenger or network safety.
