Job summary

Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) seeks an Internal Digital and Communications Advisor to join our Communications & Brand team on a 10–12 month contract. You’ll shape how 1,500+ staff receive information via intranet, Knowledge Centre and other channels, turning complex topics into clear, accessible content and driving digital experiences.

You’ll combine strong writing with SharePoint know-how, partnering with SMEs and stakeholders to publish engaging content that helps staff find

Qualifications

• Experience in internal communications, employee communications or content publishing.
• Strong writing and editing skills to simplify complex information.
• Experience publishing content on SharePoint Online or intranets.
• Ability to work with stakeholders to develop communication solutions.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit and publish internal communications across AFCA's digital channels.
• Support organisation-wide communication initiatives and campaigns.
• Create and maintain content across intranet and Knowledge Centre.
• Collaborate with SMEs to translate complex information into clear content.
• Help users find information and improve digital experiences.
• Build SharePoint pages that are navigable and visually engaging.
• Provide guidance and publishing support to content owners.
• Contribute to content governance and ongoing improvements.
