Hastings Deering (Australia) Ltd is seeking an experienced Internal Communications Manager to shape and deliver communications that engage our workforce and strengthen alignment across a large, diverse business. You will partner with leaders, develop impactful plans and create engaging content for multiple channels to support strategic initiatives.

With 6+ years in internal comms, you will craft executive messaging, measure impact using insights, and lead communications for events and roadshows.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years' experience in an internal communications lead role within a large, diverse organisation.
• Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills with ability to simplify complex information.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence leaders at all levels.
• Experience developing multi-channel communication strategies, campaigns and change communications.

Reporting to the Executive Manager - Communications and Change, you will work closely with leaders and stakeholders across the organisation to develop impactful communication plans, create engaging content, enhance our communication channels and support initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and connection.

What you'll be doing:

• Develop and deliver communication strategies and campaigns that connect employees to our business priorities and culture.
• Partner with leaders and stakeholders to shape messaging and support key organisational initiatives.

• Create engaging content across a range of channels including digital, video, presentations and leadership communications.
• Manage and optimise internal communication platforms and strategies to enhance the employee experience.

• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence and advise leaders at all levels.

• A collaborative, customer-focused approach with excellent planning and organisational skills.
