Hastings Deering is seeking an experienced Internal Communications Manager to shape and deliver messaging that engages our workforce and aligns with our strategic priorities across a large, diverse business.

Reporting to the Executive Manager – Communications and Change, you will develop impactful plans, create engaging content, and enhance channels to strengthen employee engagement and connection. This is a visible, high-impact role based in Brisbane, QLD.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years' experience in an internal communications lead role within a large, diverse organisation.
• Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex information.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence leaders at all levels.
• Experience developing communication strategies, campaigns and change communications across multiple channels.
• Collaborative, customer-focused approach with excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Ability to use data, feedback and audience insights to drive engagement and effectiveness.

Reporting to the Executive Manager – Communications and Change, you will work closely with leaders and stakeholders across the organisation to develop impactful communication plans, create engaging content, enhance our communication channels and support initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and connection.

What you'll be doing:
