Job summary

Hastings Deering, based in Brisbane, Australia, is seeking an experienced Internal Communications Manager to shape and deliver workforce communications that strengthen alignment and bring strategic priorities to life across a large, diverse business.

Reporting to the Executive Manager - Communications and Change, you will develop compelling messages, engage leaders, and optimise channels to enhance employee experience and engagement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years' experience in an internal communications lead role, within a large, diverse organisation, delivering impactful communication and engagement initiatives.
• Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex information into clear and engaging messages.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence and advise leaders at all levels.
• Experience developing communication strategies, campaigns and change communications across multiple channels.
• A collaborative, customer-focused approach with excellent planning and organisational skills.
• The ability to use data, feedback and audience insights to drive engagement and communication effectiveness.
