Bechtel is seeking an Internal Communication and Engagement Coordinator in Perth to lead project communications and engagement efforts. You will plan, craft and align messaging across channels, coordinating with leaders and the Corporate Affairs team to ensure timely, consistent information for staff and contractors.

You will advise on priorities, manage calendars, update intranet and newsletters, and support change initiatives with clear, audience-focused materials.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in internal communications, project communications or change management.
• Experience supporting complex infrastructure or capital programs.
• Proven ability to manage plans, calendars, briefs, toolkits and stakeholder materials.
• Strong understanding of change communication principles and employee engagement methods.
• Tertiary qualification in communications, public relations, business, change management or related discipline desirable.

Responsabilités

• Lead internal communications for the Planning & Projects portfolio.
• Translate project priorities, milestones and impacts into clear, engaging messaging.
• Advise leaders on communication priorities, risks and engagement.
• Coordinate updates across newsletters, intranet, briefings and forums.
• Develop leader briefs, FAQs and communication materials.
• Ensure messaging is accurate, approved and audience appropriate.
• Align communications with corporate narratives.
• Coordinate contractor communication plans and approvals.
• Support project briefings, employee engagement activities and events.
• Monitor communication effectiveness and drive improvement.
