Job summary

Officeworks is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to shape a modern, data-driven audit function. You will lead the end-to-end internal audit program in partnership with PwC and Wesfarmers Group Assurance, coordinating audits across stores, supply chain and offices, and driving innovative approaches.

Reporting to the Head of Risk & Compliance, you will mentor the team, manage stakeholders at senior levels, and promote continuous improvement and practical risk-based decision making.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Internal Audit or equivalent role within a large organization.
• Strong understanding of risk management, governance and internal controls.
• Experience coordinating audits with external partners or consulting providers.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Exposure to data analytics, automation or technology-enabled auditing.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and delivery of risk-based internal audits across the business.
• Manage day-to-day relationships with PwC and Wesfarmers Group Assurance.
• Partner with senior leaders to provide independent risk and control insights.
• Review findings, challenge assumptions and support risk-based decisions.
• Monitor audit actions and key themes for executive reporting.
• Oversee store, supply chain and office audits; drive continuous improvement.
• Drive adoption of data analytics, automation and AI in auditing.
• Mentor team members and foster a collaborative culture.
