St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba in Sydney CBD NSW seeks a Pharmacist to join the hospital pharmacy team. You will support inpatient and outpatient services, develop clinical skills, counsel patients, and participate in pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality controls.

The role requires a Pharmacy Degree and provisional registration with AHPRA, with eligibility for an Intern Training Program. A proactive, team-oriented professional will thrive in this busy setting.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Pharmacy Degree and eligible for provisional registration with AHPRA plus eligibility to enrol in an approved Intern Training Program prior to commencement (You must upload a copy of your academic transcript as part of your application)
• Sound knowledge of pharmacology and the ability to apply this knowledge in practical clinical situations
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively counsel patients and carers and collaborate with healthcare professionals at all levels
• An understanding of the role of a Hospital Pharmacist, including professional, ethical and legal responsibilities, with a commitment to ongoing professional development, continuing education, quality improvement and research
• A proactive and adaptable team player with demonstrated initiative, strong problem-solving, time management and prioritisation skills, and the ability to work independently, meet deadlines and contribute effectively within a busy team environment

Responsibilities
