Join RSM Toowoomba as an Intermediate & Senior Accountant in Business Advisory, located in the Toowoomba region of Southeast Queensland. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement and opportunities to work with a diverse client base across industries.

You will prepare financial statements, tax returns and advisory reports while developing your technical and advisory skills within a supportive, high‑performing team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in Business Advisory, Tax or Public Practice.
• CA/CPA qualification (or currently studying).
• Strong knowledge of accounting and taxation principles.
• Experience managing a portfolio of clients and building relationships.
• Ability to review work and provide commercial advice at Senior Accountant level.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, income tax returns and compliance reporting for a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Analyse financial information and provide meaningful insights to support client decision‑making.
• Build trusted relationships with business owners and key stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to deliver value‑added advisory solutions.

You are a motivated accounting professional who enjoys working directly with clients and delivering practical business solutions.

Depending on your experience, you may bring:

• Experience within a Business Advisory, Tax or Public Practice environment.
• CA or CPA qualification (or currently studying).
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting and taxation principles.
• Experience managing a portfolio of clients and building long-term relationships.
• The ability to review work, mentor junior staff and provide commercial advice (Senior Accountant level).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
