Job summary

What You Will Be Doing

• Preparing and reviewing tax returns and financial statements for a varied client base
• Working directly with clients, building relationships and becoming a trusted point of contact
• Providing advisory support beyond compliance, including tax planning and business improvement
• Learning from senior staff and the leadership team on more complex client matters

What We Are Looking For

• Intermediate or senior level experience in public practice accounting, or an experienced bookkeeper ready to progress
• Strong technical knowledge across individuals, companies and trusts
• Confident communicator who is comfortable dealing with clients directly
• Willingness to be mentored and trained by senior staff
• Drive to progress and take on more responsibility
• Degree qualified in accounting or commerce, or working towards it
• Local to Childers or the surrounding region, or keen for a lifestyle change
