William Buck in Melbourne invites applications for an Intermediate Auditor to join our Audit & Assurance division. You will work with a varied client base across industries and broaden your technical knowledge through exposure to diverse engagements.

Based at their Melbourne CBD office with hybrid WFH options, some travel to client sites is required. Hold a relevant bachelor’s degree and commence CA qualification, with 1+ years external audit experience to contribute to high-quality reporting

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant bachelor’s degree.
• Have commenced the Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
• 1+ years External Audit experience.
• Broad industry experience including Mining, Manufacturing, Schools, Biotech, Financial Services, Technology, Not-for-profits.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team to undertake external audit engagements across a range of industries and sizes.
• Complete planning sections of audit files without supervision.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to our undergraduate and graduate Auditors.
• Assess and analyse financial statements, and ensure compliance with standards and regulations
• Liaise with clients and build strong relationships.
• Provide recommendations to clients after understanding and assessing internal controls.
• Complete assigned work in a timely manner with little to no review points.
