Job summary

Bluestone Recruitment is seeking an Interior Architect for a private developer in Melbourne. You will join the in-house design team to focus on concept design and early brief development across apartment projects.

You will lead briefs, define scope, and deliver high-quality interior design outcomes while coordinating with internal teams and external consultants to ensure timely delivery and design integrity.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Interior Architecture, Architecture, or Architectural Technology.
• Minimum of 6 years' professional experience.
• Front-end interior design experience, ideally on residential projects.
• Passionate about design, creative thinking and innovative design.
• Strong appreciation for project budgets and program.

Responsibilities

• Lead project brief development and concept design.
• Research, select, and specify FF&E, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers.

Our client is a highly successful private developer with an impressive track record established over the past 30 years and across multiple asset classes. With a strong pipeline of apartment projects, they are seeking a talented Interior Architect to join their in-house design team and focus on concept design.

The Role

Joining a well-established design team, this is a hands-on role where you will contribute across the full project lifecycle- with a strong focus on early brief development and concept design.

Working across a secure pipeline of apartment developments, you will be responsible for developing project briefs, defining scope, and delivering high-quality, detailed interior design outcomes.

You will play a key role in developing the design vision, ensuring all selections align with design intent, budget, and program.

Working within a fully integrated property group, you will collaborate closely with internal design, development, and construction teams, as well as manage and coordinate external consultants.

Key Responsibilities

What We're Looking For
