Job summary

State of Victoria, Melbourne, is seeking a Senior Data and Systems Analyst on a fixed-term basis for up to six months. The role supports the Worker Screening Intelligence and Compliance branch, building an interim digital workspace using SharePoint and the Microsoft Power Platform to handle intelligence tasking, case management and compliance workflows.

The successful candidate will automate processes, cleanse and transform partner data, and implement matching and routing rules to support

Qualifications

Relevant VPS experience.
Australian citizenship, permanent residency or valid work visa.
Proficiency with SharePoint and the Microsoft Power Platform.

Responsibilities

Design, build and administer the interim digital workspace in SharePoint and Power Platform, including workflow configuration and user access.
Translate operational requirements into technical solutions and test with users.
Automate recurring processes with Power Automate to reduce manual work and improve timeliness.
Extract, cleanse, transform and validate datasets from partner organisations for intelligence analysis and compliance.
Apply matching and linking techniques to connect incoming information with existing data and refine operational rules.
