Curamoir Healthcare Recruitment seeks an Intensive Support Case Manager – Youth in Tennant Creek to support Indigenous youth and families, focusing on safety, well-being and positive development. You will craft culturally responsive plans, advocate for clients, and coordinate with local agencies to connect services and resources.

The role emphasizes case management, service coordination, and adherence to relevant laws and policies while contributing to ongoing improvements in delivery of care.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Child, Family and Youth Interventions or related field.
• Experience in Aboriginal community health or welfare services with cultural competency.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and case management skills.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and youth-focused service delivery.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and client information systems.

On Offer

• $70-75 per hour including casual loading
• 3 month assignment - full time hours, with a view to extend

The role

As an Intensive Support Case Worker – Youth, you will engage directly with young people and their families to support safety, well-being, and positive development. You’ll develop culturally responsive support plans, provide advocacy, and work collaboratively with community agencies.
Your role involves case management, coordinating services, and promoting educational and health-related outcomes. You will be instrumental in sustaining respectful networks and contributing to continuous improvement in service delivery while maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and policies.

Requirements

• Diploma or higher in Child, Family and Youth Interventions, Community Services, Counselling, or equivalent
• Experience in Aboriginal community health or welfare services with cultural competency
• Well-developed communication, interpersonal, and case management skills
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and youth-focused service delivery
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and client information systems
• Current NT driver’s licence and ability to obtain Working with Children Check (Ochre Card)
