Job summary

Corrections Victoria is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to provide operational support for intelligence matters within the CVIU. You’ll deliver intelligence services to decision makers across CV and its stakeholders to aid in the security and good order of correctional facilities and community offender management.

Responsibilities include collecting, analysing, and disseminating intelligence, producing briefs for senior management, and assisting in intelligence-led operations planning.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of CV system and key issues impacting it.
• Experience with intelligence functions in the criminal justice system and related agencies is desirable.
• Experience with information management systems or data technologies is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collect, collate, record, analyse and disseminate intelligence to authorised parties.
• Prepare intelligence reports and briefings for senior management and advise on emerging threats and trends.
• Support in development and planning of intelligence-led operations.
