The Office of the Children’s Guardian is seeking an Intelligence Officer to support the Investigations & Enforcement Directorate. You will transform complex information into actionable intelligence to guide regulatory and enforcement decisions across Child Safe and related schemes.

You’ll research sources, identify patterns, and translate findings for investigators and senior decision makers. You will collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to share information, while contributing

Qualifikationen

• Substantial experience in intelligence analysis, ideally in a regulatory, law enforcement or similarly complex environment.
• Sound knowledge of intelligence methods and the ability to analyse complex and diverse information.
• Experience preparing accurate, defensible intelligence products and briefings for different audiences.
• Clear written and verbal communication, sound judgement and strong attention to detail.
• Professionalism, integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information.
• Confidence using intelligence databases and analytical tools, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.

Aufgaben

• Collect and analyse information from a range of sources to identify risks, trends and connections.
• Prepare concise intelligence reports, briefings and visual products for operational and executive audiences.
• Provide timely intelligence advice to support investigations, compliance activity and decision making.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies to share information appropriately.
• Help strengthen intelligence systems, methods and practices across the OCG.
