Job summary

COSOL is seeking an Integration Solution Architect to lead architectural direction for a major enterprise transformation. You will drive integration, data and cloud architecture across a multi-vendor environment, with a focus on real-time operations and secure, scalable AWS solutions.

You will collaborate with client stakeholders, delivery teams and partners to shape technology decisions, establish governance, and ensure architecture aligns with business objectives.

• Strong experience across Integration, Data and Solution Architecture.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural leadership across a major enterprise transformation program, aligning solutions with objectives and requirements.
• Define and maintain target-state architecture, governance, and reusable design patterns.
• Lead architecture activities across a complex multi-vendor environment (solution, integration, data and cloud).
• Design secure, scalable AWS-based solutions that support real-time data and operations.
• Establish integration strategies: APIs, event-driven architectures, messaging, real-time streaming.
• Guide ingestion and governance of OT data (PLC, SCADA, etc.).
• Provide governance throughout delivery, ensuring adherence to designs and best practices.
• Facilitate architecture workshops and design reviews with stakeholders.
• Work with clients, vendors to resolve complex technical challenges and drive decisions.
• Act as trusted advisor on technology direction, risks and opportunities.
• Mentor teams and evolve architecture capability and standards.

We're currently seeking an experienced Integration Solution Architect to provide architectural leadership on a major enterprise transformation program focused on the integration of real-time operational data and cloud technologies.

The Opportunity

As the senior technical authority for the program, you will lead the architecture strategy and design for a complex, multi-vendor environment, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, resilient and aligned to business objectives.

Working closely with client stakeholders, delivery teams and technology partners, you'll provide leadership across solution, integration, data and cloud architecture while helping shape critical technology decisions and long-term outcomes.

This is a highly influential role suited to someone who enjoys solving complex integration challenges and influencing architecture across large-scale transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide architectural leadership across a major enterprise transformation program, ensuring solutions align with business objectives, operational requirements and long-term strategy.

• Define and maintain target-state architecture, architecture standards, governance frameworks and reusable design patterns.

• Lead solution, integration, data and cloud architecture activities across a complex, multi-vendor environment.

• Design secure, scalable and resilient AWS-based solutions that support real-time operational and business requirements.

• Establish integration strategies covering APIs, event-driven architectures, messaging frameworks and real-time data streaming platforms.

• Guide the ingestion, management and governance of operational technology (OT) data, including PLC, SCADA and other critical operational systems.

• Provide architectural oversight throughout delivery, ensuring solutions are implemented in line with approved designs and best practices.

• Facilitate architecture workshops, design reviews and technical governance forums, driving alignment across business and technology stakeholders.

• Work closely with clients, vendors and delivery teams to resolve complex technical challenges and support key architectural decisions.

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, providing clear recommendations on technology direction, risks, constraints and opportunities.

• Mentor technical teams and contribute to the ongoing evolution of architecture capability, standards and practices across the program.

About You

You'll be an experienced architect with a strong track record delivering complex enterprise technologies and transformation programs.

Essential

• Extensive experience in senior Solution, Integration or Enterprise Architecture roles.

• Demonstrated success leading architecture outcomes across large-scale transformation programs.

• Strong experience across Integration Architecture, Data Architecture and Solution Architecture.

• Deep AWS architecture expertise, including cloud-native, event-driven and real-time data solutions.

• Experience establishing architecture standards, governance frameworks and reusable design patterns.

• Strong stakeholder engagement skills across technical, business and executive audiences.

• Excellent communication, facilitation and influencing capabilities.

Highly Regarded

• AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification (or similar).

• Experience with AWS streaming technologies including Kinesis, MSK or IoT Core.

• Exposure to transport, rail, mining, utilities or other asset-intensive industries.

• Experience integrating PLC, SCADA, Modbus or other operational technology systems.
