Job summary

UnitingCare Brisbane is seeking an experienced Integration Developer to design and support Azure-based integrations that connect critical applications and data across our organisation. You will develop Azure Function Apps and Logic Apps using C#/.NET, troubleshoot issues and deliver secure, reliable integration solutions.

This full-time, hybrid role offers flexible work arrangements and collaboration with business analysts and technical teams to deliver scalable integration across our services.

Qualifications

• Experience with Azure Function Apps and Azure Logic Apps in a production environment.
• Strong C#/.NET development skills and SQL database experience.
• Experience developing and supporting API-based system-to-system integrations (REST and SOAP).
• Analytical problem-solving skills for diagnosing integration, data-flow, and production issues.
• Familiarity with JSON, XML, CSV data formats; source control and DevOps practices.

We're looking for an experienced Integration Developer who enjoys solving complex technical problems and building reliable connections between systems. Join our Digital Engineering team and play a key role in supporting and enhancing the Azure-based integrations that connect critical applications and data across UnitingCare.

As an Integration Developer, you'll provide hands‑on development and support across our Microsoft Azure integration environment. You'll develop and maintain Azure Function Apps and Logic Apps, work with C#/.NET and APIs, troubleshoot integration and data‑flow issues, and deliver enhancements to existing solutions. You'll work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure integrations are secure, reliable and fit for purpose

Your part in our UnitingCare team:

• Support, maintain and enhance existing API‑based integrations across the Azure environment.
• Develop and maintain Azure Function Apps using C#/.NET and Azure Logic Apps.
• Design and develop Azure integration solutions using technologies such as Azure Service Bus and API Management.
• Develop and maintain RESTful and SOAP APIs to support reliable integration between enterprise applications.
• Develop data mapping, transformation, validation and error‑handling logic across integrated systems.
• Troubleshoot integration failures, data‑flow issues, connectivity problems and defects through detailed analysis and debugging.
• Deliver BAU changes and smaller integration enhancements while maintaining the reliability of existing solutions.
• Conduct testing of integration solutions to ensure functionality, data accuracy and performance.
• Apply appropriate security, logging and exception‑management practices across integration solutions.
• Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver effective integration solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to the ongoing improvement of integration performance and practices.

What makes a difference for us?

• Strong practical experience with Azure Function Apps and Azure Logic Apps.
• Proficiency in C#/.NET development and experience working with SQL/databases.
• Experience developing and supporting API‑based, system‑to‑system integrations, including REST APIs.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve integration, data‑flow and production issues.
• Experience working with data formats such as JSON, XML and CSV.
• Understanding of source control and DevOps principles, including GitHub repositories and/or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of API security, authentication and secure data transmission practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
• Experience with Azure Service Bus and API Management will be highly regarded.
• Azure Developer, .NET or relevant technical certifications are desirable.
• Healthcare integration or HL7 experience is desirable but not essential.
