Job summary

Populous is seeking a Structure & MEP Lead in Sydney to own the coordination of structural and building services within architectural design. You will balance design intent, function, buildability and user experience while guiding interface resolution and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

You will collaborate with Project Leads, consultants and teams to deliver integrated, high-quality outcomes across sport and entertainment-focused projects in Australia and APAC, leveraging

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Architecture from a recognised university.
• Current Architectural Registration in Australia (desirable).
• Approximately 5-10 years' professional experience within an architectural practice.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating complex architectural projects through design, documentation and delivery stages.
• Advanced BIM and Revit proficiency with digital design and documentation workflows.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across project teams.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, documentation and delivery of complex architectural projects.
• Own structural and MEP packages from concept through detailed design and documentation.
• Coordinate architectural responses to structural and building services requirements.
• Lead collaboration with Project Leads to align structural/MEP with architectural vision.
• Coordinate with consultants to integrate project requirements and resolve interfaces.
• Review drawings, models and technical information for alignment with outcomes.
• Lead package drawings and deliverables throughout the design process.
• Participate in design reviews, workshops, and stakeholder presentations.
