Job summary

TRANSEARCH International Australia Pty Ltd – Melbourne VIC is seeking an Insurance Product Manager to lead the automotive insurance proposition for the financial services arm of a prestigious European automotive brand. You will own the product from design and pricing through to dealer network performance, with end-to-end accountability.

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance product management, including pricing, terms and conditions, and product disclosure.
• Experience in automotive financial services or insurance distribution.
• Dealer relationship management experience highly regarded.
• Strong influencing skills in matrix environments, translating strategy into executable dealer plans.
• Analytical capability with dashboards, scorecards and funnel analytics.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, pricing and competitiveness of automotive insurance, benchmarking terms, conditions and pricing against the market.
• Review product and pricing governance, ensuring product disclosure and documentation meet regulatory and internal control requirements.
• Be accountable for penetration and gross profit outcomes across the brands.
• Operate a dealer performance management model using scorecards covering quote rate, conversion, cancellations, renewals and premium trends.
• Drive relaunch execution, including dealer communications, campaign performance tracking, training alignment and roadshows.
• Work with insurance partners to enhance the offering and manage performance against KPIs and SLAs.
• Act as the subject matter expert for insurance and support training on new products and offers.

We are searching for an Insurance Product Manager to lead the automotive insurance proposition for the financial services arm of a prestigious European automotive brand. This national role carries full ownership of the product, from design and pricing through to dealer network performance.

The insurance business is well established, with a strong branded product at its core. The focus now is on lifting penetration across the brands, protecting profitability and keeping the offering competitive as customer expectations evolve.

Your Role:

• Own the design, pricing and competitiveness of automotive insurance, benchmarking terms, conditions and pricing against the market
• Review product and pricing governance, ensuring product disclosure and documentation meet regulatory and internal control requirements
• Be accountable for penetration and gross profit outcomes across the brands
• Operate a dealer performance management model using granular scorecards covering quote rate, conversion, cancellations, renewals and premium trends
• Drive relaunch execution, including dealer communications, campaign performance tracking, training alignment and roadshows
• Work with insurance partners to enhance the offering, manage performance against contractual KPIs and SLAs, and lead quarterly governance forums
• Act as the subject matter expert for insurance across the business, and support training on new products and offers for dealers and internal teams

What You Will Bring

• Experience in insurance product management, including pricing, terms and conditions, and product disclosure
• Experience in automotive financial services or insurance distribution
• Dealer relationship management experience highly regarded
• Strong influencing skills in matrix environments, with the ability to translate strategy into executable dealer plans
• Analytical capability, including dashboards, scorecards and funnel analytics that turn insight into action
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to produce management-grade steering packs and presentations, with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
