Job summary

Mills Oakley in Sydney is seeking a Lawyer/Associate with 2-3 years PQE to join our Insurance team. You will work on personal injury, public liability, CTP and professional negligence matters, supporting Stephen Vardanega and Leah Pryde.

You will handle draft advices, investigations, document reviews, subpoenas, court filings, and attend mediations and hearings. The role offers exposure to large insurers and a collaborative environment that values client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven ability in insurance or general litigation.
• Strong writing and research capabilities.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare advices on liability and damages.
• Investigate and manage claims thoroughly.
• Analyze expert reports and documents for subpoenas.
• Draft and file Subpoenas, Defences and Cross Claims.
• Prepare for interlocutory Court applications and attend hearings.
• Maintain client relationships and collaborate with teams.
