Job summary

Capricorn is seeking a Customer Service Officer - Insurance to join our Sales and Services Operations team. You will provide responsive, high-quality support to Capricorn Members and Suppliers across calls, email and portal channels, owning enquiries and delivering accurate responses at first contact.

You will maintain clear CRM records, update Epicor, and collaborate with Operations, Field Sales and Supply teams to ensure consistently positive service outcomes, supported by at least two years

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a similar customer service or contact centre role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; engage confidently with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Sound judgement and the ability to resolve enquiries per business procedures and service expectations.
• Good numeracy and exceptional accuracy when managing records and system updates.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage competing enquiries and escalated matters.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound customer enquiries via calls, email and portal channels.
• Take ownership of enquiries and resolve at first contact where possible; escalate when needed.
• Maintain clear records in CRM and complete accurate system updates in Epicor.
• Collaborate with Operations, Field Sales and Supply teams to support positive service outcomes.
