RACQ Insurance is seeking an Insurance Compliance Team Lead in Brisbane for a 12-month secondment based at Eight Mile Plains Meanjin. You will guide a small team, provide first-line compliance advice to business leaders, and coordinate responses to APRA, ASIC and CGC during a major integration with IAG.

You’ll lead changes across governance, risk and control activities, strengthening the compliance framework and supporting strategic initiatives in a dynamic financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in compliance, risk, audit or governance roles within financial services or insurance.
• Ability to provide practical, hands-on compliance guidance to leaders.
• Proven leadership and change-management capabilities.

Responsabilités

• Lead and coach a team of Compliance Advisors to deliver high-quality compliance activities.
• Provide first line compliance advice and help business leaders understand obligations and risks.
• Coordinate RACQ Insurance regulatory responses to APRA, ASIC and CGC and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor regulatory changes and advise on impacts and actions.
• Oversee compliance plans, root cause analysis and assurance checks.
