Job summary

Eastern Health’s Box Hill CSSD is recruiting a permanent part-time team member to reprocess reusable medical equipment for Surgery, Endoscopy and other areas of Box Hill Hospital. Experience or knowledge of Decontamination and Sterilization of surgical instruments per AS5369 (2023) is required.

The role involves flexible rosters, including night duties, and contributing to a supportive, high‑quality team culture.

Qualifications

Certificate III or Cert IV in Sterilizing Services.
Experience in CSSD.
Ability to work flexible rosters including Night Duty.

Responsibilities

Reprocess reusable medical equipment for Surgery, Endoscopy and other areas of Box Hill Hospital.

About the role

Box Hill CSSD is a dynamic and progressive department. We are responsible for the reprocessing of reusable medical equipment for Surgery, Endoscopy and other areas of Box Hill Hospital. The CSSD team is skilled, friendly, supportive and dedicated to ensuring the highest standards in the reprocessing of medical equipment. This will be an opportunity to develop your career in the sterilizing service.

Experience or knowledge of Decontamination and Sterilization of surgical instruments in accordance with AS5369 (2023) is required.
