Marian Catholic College Kenthurst in NSW invites an enthusiastic English Teacher to join our permanent, full‑time staff. You will plan engaging lessons, foster literacy and critical thinking, and contribute to a vibrant faith‑based learning community.

New graduates are encouraged to apply, and you will work within a device‑free learning environment for Years 7–10 from 2027, collaborating with colleagues to support student growth and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to teach English in NSW under NESA.
• Relevant tertiary qualification; new graduates encouraged to apply.
• Working with Children Check clearance as per NSW Child Protection Legislation.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that cater to the development of students.
• Inspire students to develop a love of reading, writing and language.
• Create a safe, inclusive and challenging learning environment that encourages creativity and critical thinking.
• Support students to develop reading, writing, speaking, listening and viewing skills for confident communication.
• Adhere to assessment schedules and maintain accurate records of student achievement and progress.
• Demonstrate strong pedagogical knowledge and continually enhance English teaching.
• Develop effective assessment strategies and differentiate learning activities to meet diverse student needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and wellbeing.
• Set high, achievable expectations for students and foster lifelong learning.
