Canterbury Girls' Secondary College in Melbourne is seeking an English/Drama Teacher on a 0.70 FTE Family Leave arrangement. The role focuses on delivering engaging English and Drama programs for Years 7-12, with emphasis on literacy, numeracy, and inclusive teaching.

You will collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and participate in school activities. Applicants must hold a teaching qualification and be registered to teach in Victoria.

Formación

• Knowledge of the curriculum with literacy and numeracy integration.
• Experience planning high impact teaching strategies and using data to inform growth.
• Experience monitoring student learning and providing feedback to students and parents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to collaborate with staff, parents and community.
• Commitment to Department values and ongoing professional learning.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, prepare and teach VCE Units 1–4 across English/Drama.
• Contribute to school programs and policies aligned with priorities.
• Supervise student teachers and mentor colleagues.
• Use data to inform teaching practices and support student learning growth.
• Engage with parent-teacher meetings and school activities.
