Snowy Mountains Grammar School in Jindabyne, NSW, invites applications for a Design and Technology Teacher (Years 9–12) on a fixed-term contract (Term 1–18 January 2027 to 16 April 2027). Employment may be full-time or part-time by negotiation.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging programs, align with the school's mission, and contribute to co-curricular activities. NSW teacher registration and WWCC are required.

Qualifications

• Qualifications and strong subject expertise in Design and Technology or a related discipline.
• Hold current NSW Teacher Registration (NESA) prior to commencement.
• Hold a current NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC).
• Experience managing workshops, tools, equipment and practical learning environments.
• Proven ability to facilitate a positive learning environment that cultivates curious, critical thinkers and deeper learning.
• Highly developed communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• Excellent ICT skills and the ability to integrate technology into lessons.
• Enthusiastic commitment to contributing to the school’s co-curricular and pastoral care programs.
