Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in Internal Sales, Customer Service or Sales Support.
• Experience in mining, industrial, manufacturing, engineering sectors.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations for conveyor and engineered component solutions.
• Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and customer specifications (training provided).
• Process sales orders and ensure accurate documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering, production and operations to meet requirements.
• Follow up quotations and identify opportunities to convert enquiries into sales.
• Build relationships with mining, industrial and OEM customers.
• Maintain customer information in CRM and ERP systems.
• Provide technical product advice and outstanding customer service throughout the sales process.

An established Australian industrial manufacturer is seeking an enthusiastic Internal Sales Representative to join its Perth team based in Welshpool.

Supporting customers across the mining, quarrying and heavy industrial sectors, you’ll play a key role in preparing quotations, interpreting technical requirements, coordinating with production and delivering outstanding customer service. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with internal sales experience who enjoys technical products and wants to build a long-term career within a respected engineering business.

The Role

Working closely with customers, external sales and the manufacturing team, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing quotations for conveyor and engineered component solutions.
• Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and customer specifications (training provided if required).
• Processing sales orders and ensuring accurate documentation.
• Liaising with engineering, production and operations to coordinate customer requirements.
• Following up quotations and identifying opportunities to convert enquiries into sales.
• Building strong relationships with mining, industrial and OEM customers.
• Maintaining accurate customer information within the CRM and ERP systems.

About You

To be successful, you’ll ideally bring:

• 2+ years’ experience in an Internal Sales, Customer Service or Sales Support position.
• Experience working within the mining, industrial, manufacturing, engineering or related sectors.
• The ability to read and interpret technical drawings, or a genuine willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A proactive attitude and desire to develop your technical knowledge.
• Mechanical aptitude or an interest in mechanical products will be highly regarded.
• Experience using CRM and ERP systems is advantageous.
