Job summary

Donvale Rehabilitation Hospital in Melbourne is seeking an Inpatient Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist to deliver patient-centred therapy for independence and quality of life.

You will work within an interdisciplinary team to design and implement comprehensive rehab programs, with a focus on discharge planning and evidence-based care. A recognised OT degree and AHPRA registration are required, with inpatient experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current AHPRA general registration.
• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation or acute hospital is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ADL, cognitive and home environment assessments.
• Develop, deliver and evaluate rehabilitation plans.
• Prescribe assistive technology, equipment and home modifications for discharge.
• Collaborate with patients, families and multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in discharge planning and quality/safety activities.
