Job summary

Mercy Health in Melbourne's Werribee Mercy Hospital is seeking a Grade 2 Occupational Therapist to join the inpatient OT service. You will provide quality, evidence-based, person-centred care within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to service development in the acute/subacute inpatient setting.

Qualifications

• A recognised degree in Occupational Therapy and current, full registration with AHPRA.
• Minimum of 2 years strong clinical skills/experience; with in acute, subacute care with neurological/stroke care an advantage.
• Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
• A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
• The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
• Full drivers licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality, evidence-based, person-centred care as part of a multidisciplinary care team to the allocated caseload.
• Contribute to service development and leadership within the inpatient OT service.
• Supervision is provided by a Grade 3 Senior clinician Occupational Therapist, with appropriate supervision opportunities.
