Job summary

Mercy Health's Occupational Therapy department at WMH invites an experienced Grade 2 Occupational Therapist to join a supportive team delivering inpatient and outpatient services across the acute and subacute spectrum.

You will hold a recognised OT degree with current AHPRA registration and a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in neurological care. A Grade 3 supervisor supports growth and leadership opportunities within the service.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy and current, full AHPRA registration.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; acute/subacute care with neuro/stroke as an advantage.
• Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills.
• Compassionate, flexible and positive approach to patient care and management.
• Ability to nurture collaborative, multidisciplinary team relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality, evidence-based, person-centred care as part of a multidisciplinary care team.
• Contribute to service development and leadership within the inpatient OT service.
• Supervision is provided by a Grade 3 Senior Occupational Therapist, with supervision opportunities.
