Job summary

Peter Moyes Anglican School in Western Australia is seeking an experienced Kindergarten Teacher for a full-time, fixed-term role (1.0 FTE) from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2027. The ideal candidate will have a play- and inquiry-based learning approach and experience in Early Years education.

You will deliver a broad Australian curriculum, differentiate for diverse learners, use IT as a teaching tool, collect data to inform teaching, and collaborate with colleagues to support student wellbeing

Qualifications

Relevant tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education.
Experience as an Early Years Teacher (Kindergarten).
Experience leading a team or coordinating group activities.
Commitment to lifelong learning and professional growth.

Responsibilities

Maintain knowledge of curriculum and Early Childhood content (EYLF, NQS, Australian Curriculum).
Demonstrate a range of teaching and learning pedagogies for individuals, small groups, and whole classes.
Differentiate for diverse learners and provide deep, meaningful learning experiences.
Provide regular feedback and develop student self-assessment skills.
Promote positive attitudes to learning and student wellbeing.
Foster student responsibility, independence and confidence.
Use IT as a pedagogical tool to enhance learning.
Collect and analyse data to inform teaching decisions.
Collaborate with colleagues and families to support student outcomes.
