Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience and teaching qualifications in the specific realm.
• Hold a current QCT Registration.
• Demonstrated experience working with Australian Curriculum.
• Ability to plan, prepare and deliver effective programs aligned to government regulations and school pedagogy.
• Ability to deliver programs using information technology to maximise student outcomes and manage behaviour.
• Strong communication with students, families and colleagues.
• Involvement in extracurricular activities.
• Strong Christian character supporting College values.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver teaching and learning programs meeting diverse needs.
• Support students in various settings and maintain wellbeing.
• Maintain teaching competency and currency of knowledge for programs.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to master the Teaching and Learning Framework.
• Provide student assessment, feedback and reporting.
• Maintain student records and work samples.
• Collaborate on curriculum development and evaluation.
• Establish relationships with stakeholders including parents and community.
• Prepare student reports each semester.
• Maintain resources and safety in daily operations.
• Comply with College policies including WHS and Code of Conduct.
• Participate in College activities and events.
