Job summary

Villanova College invites applications for a full-time Technologies Teacher on a 12-month fixed-term contract commencing January 2027. You will teach Design and Technologies and Digital Technologies to boys in Years 5 to 9, fostering practical, project-based learning and curiosity in a Catholic Augustinian context.

The role focuses on design projects, computational thinking, and safe workshop practices, aligning with the Australian Curriculum and contributing to curriculum development.

Qualifications

• Hold tertiary qualifications in Primary or Secondary education with a specialisation in Design and Technologies, Digital Technologies or a related discipline.
• Show sound knowledge of the Years 5-9 Technologies curriculum and confidence teaching practical and digital content.

Responsibilities

• Teach Design and Technologies and Digital Technologies across Years 5–9 in line with the Australian Curriculum.
• Plan and deliver hands-on design projects across technologies contexts including engineering principles and systems.
