Job summary

The Hills Grammar School in Sydney Hills District NSW is seeking a passionate Computing and Technology Teacher to join the TAS faculty for term 1, 2027. The successful candidate will teach Technology Mandatory (Stage 4) and have the capacity to teach Computing-related courses in Stages 5 and 6.

Applicants should hold recognised teaching qualifications with NESA accreditation and demonstrate experience teaching Technology Mandatory and Computing-related subjects, with strong NSW syllabus

• Hold recognised teaching qualifications and NESA accreditation.
• Demonstrate experience teaching Technology Mandatory and Computing-related subjects.
• Possess strong curriculum knowledge of NSW syllabuses.
• Be committed to student wellbeing and academic excellence.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be capable of creating engaging learning environments that inspire students to achieve their potential.
• Experience teaching Stage 6 Computing courses.
• Willingness to contribute to extracurricular technology, STEM and innovation programs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and innovative learning experiences in Technology Mandatory (Years 7-8).
• Teach Computing Technology Stage 5 and Stage 6.
• Foster creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, and digital literacy.
• Integrate emerging technologies and industry-relevant practices into classroom learning.
• Contribute to curriculum development and the co-curricular life of the school.
• Work collaboratively within a supportive and high-performing TAS faculty.
