Bendigo Senior Secondary College (BSSC) invites applications for a Classroom Teacher to contribute to the school program beyond the classroom as experienced. The role includes teaching across year levels, participating in policy development and supporting school priorities, with opportunities to mentor and coach colleagues.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum with literacy/numeracy integration.
• Experience planning high impact teaching strategies.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning and reporting to students and parents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, parents, colleagues and the school community.

Responsabilités

• Direct teaching of groups and individuals as part of the school program.
• Contribute to policy development and school priorities.
• Participate in induction and professional learning.
• Support co-curricular activities and student welfare.
• Undertake duties in addition to rostered teaching as appropriate.
