Job summary

The Injury Management Consultant role is a permanent full-time position based in East Perth, WA, commencing ASAP. You will coordinate an in‑house injury management service for both compensable and non‑compensable cases, providing strategic and operational guidance to support workers’ wellbeing and safe return to work.

• Injury management experience or expertise required.
• Ability to provide advisory services on injury management and staff wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate an in‑house injury management service for compensable and non‑compensable cases.
• Provide operational and strategic advice to ensure effective management of staff with medical conditions impacting work.
• Develop policies, guidelines and projects to reduce workers’ compensation costs and sickness absence.
• Monitor quality assurance of external vocational rehabilitation providers and contractors.
• Liaise with stakeholders including vocational rehabilitation providers, principals, line managers, medical services and insurers.
