Job summary

Mount Isa Mines is seeking an Injury Management Advisor to join our Health Team within the HSEC Department. You will provide expert advice on workplace health, injury management and rehabilitation to support successful return-to-work outcomes for employees.

Working with leaders, employees and health practitioners, you will contribute to health initiatives, injury prevention and rehabilitation programs, prioritising safety and employee wellbeing across the workforce.

Qualifications

• Allied health professional qualification or equivalent is required.
• Strong understanding of injury management and return-to-work concepts.
• Proven ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and guidance on health, injury management and occupational health matters.
• Develop and support proactive workplace health strategies and initiatives.
• Coordinate and facilitate early intervention programs to support return-to-work outcomes.
• Manage workplace rehabilitation processes and recovery plans.
• Collaborate with employees, leaders and medical providers on injury management activities.
• Ensure workers' compensation and health management align with legislation and standards.
