Job summary

Woolworths Group in WA is seeking an Injury Care Partner to guide team members through recovery, delivering best-practice injury management and return-to-work strategies. You will own a RTW portfolio, manage workers' compensation claims end-to-end, and collaborate with line leaders, a TPA and health professionals to drive positive outcomes.

We value allied health qualifications and experience in self-insurance regimes.

Qualifications

• Previous experience handling workers' compensation and injury management claims end-to-end.
• Deep understanding of return-to-work and rehabilitation best practices.
• Solid understanding of workers’ compensation self-insurance regimes, requirements and practices.
• Allied health qualifications will be highly regarded (OT, EP, Physio).

Responsibilities

• Guide Team Members through recovery with best-practice injury management, rehabilitation and return-to-work strategies.
• Own portfolio and caseload including early intervention and workers' compensation claims; collaborate with Line Leaders, TPA and healthcare providers to lead RTW plans.
• Partner with stakeholders to drive claims management, return to work, redeployment and claim closure with our TPA.
• Engage with operational teams to provide training and mentoring in RTW and relevant legislative compliance.
• Provide support to operational teams in resolving injury management issues and developing improvement strategies.
• Focus on RTW portfolio management to meet legislative/self-insurance obligations and coordinate audits.
• Maintain regular engagement with stakeholders including TPA, Rehabilitation Providers and Treating Health Professionals.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports aligned to metrics and performance.
