Job summary

Mauri, part of the George Weston Foods Group, invites applications for an Ingredient Buyer role based at the Enfield site in Sydney. You will own end-to-end purchasing of ingredients for Australia and New Zealand feed mills, raising POs and contracts, reviewing market reports, and managing tender processes.

Experience in procurement, strong Excel and SAP skills, and knowledge of demand planning and inbound logistics are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Procurement and supply chain experience, ideally in manufacturing or agribusiness.
• Strong Excel skills and SAP or similar ERP experience.
• Understanding of demand planning, inventory management and inbound logistics.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Experience with animal feed, micro-nutrients or commodities is valued.

Responsibilities

• Raising and managing daily purchase orders and contracts across multiple sites in SAP
• Reviewing commodity and market reports
• Running and owning tender processes
• Monitoring stock coverage and forecasting purchase requirements against mill usage and customer demand
• Managing inbound logistics, delivery scheduling, shipping and lead times for both domestic and imported ingredients
