Job summary

Bengalla Mining Company is seeking a skilled Plant Mechanic to join our Infrastructure Team on a 12-hour day shift, Monday to Thursday, Tuesday to Friday rotating roster.

You will perform planned and unplanned maintenance across site infrastructure, equipment, and workshops, with a strong emphasis on safety, reliability, and teamwork. Residential lifestyle offered with opportunities for site projects and equipment upgrades.

The Opportunity

Bengalla is seeking a skilled Plant Mechanic to join our dedicated Infrastructure Team. This role requires a reliable team player who can also work independently on both planned and reactive maintenance tasks.

As a key member of the Infrastructure Team, you will help ensure the reliability and safety of fixed plant and infrastructure across the mine site, including administration areas, workshops, and field environments. This position works a 12-hour day shift, Monday to Thursday, Tuesday to Friday rotating roster.

For the right applicant, this position also offers the opportunity to be involved in a range of site projects, equipment introductions, and infrastructure improvements. This provides exposure to diverse work, new equipment coming to site, and the chance to contribute directly to the ongoing development and reliability of Bengalla’s infrastructure assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform planned and unplanned maintenance on site infrastructure
• Inspect, service, and repair assets such as light vehicles, pumps, lighting sets, systems, access roads, and MIA infrastructure and or other equipment.
• Deliver high-quality work with a focus on safety and equipment reliability
• Adhere to Bengalla’s Health, Safety, and Environmental standards at all times

• Strong Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) skills
• High attention to detail and work quality
