Job summary

The City of Greater Geraldton invites applications for a Project Manager (Ref: 1434) to join the Project Delivery team on a 24-month fixed-term, full-time basis. You will lead capital works, manage scope, budgets and procurement, and ensure projects meet design, scope and regulatory requirements.

Successful candidates will have extensive project delivery experience in infrastructure, strong stakeholder engagement and a proven track record in delivering community infrastructure projects within

Qualifications

• Extensive and diverse experience in managing the successful design and delivery of infrastructure projects.
• Experience in civil and building projects with budget, specification and schedule adherence.
• Strong stakeholder relationship skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Pre-employment medical including alcohol and other substances testing is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of allocated capital works projects throughout the full project lifecycle, from initiation to completion and handover.
• Develop and manage project scopes, designs, specifications, delivery strategies and procurement plans.
• Manage project budgets, contracts and funding allocations, monitor expenditure and variations.
• Coordinate procurement, appointment and management of consultants, contractors and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, standards and city policies while managing risks and governance.
