Job summary

Talent is seeking an IT Infrastructure / Network Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of infrastructure and network upgrade projects in Brisbane and PNG.

You will coordinate LAN/WAN upgrades, engage with vendors and internal stakeholders, and develop schedules, budgets and governance reporting to ensure quality outcomes. The role requires managing multiple stakeholders across sites and driving delivery within time and budget constraints.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading IT infrastructure projects.
• Strong network technologies and upgrade delivery.
• Experience coordinating multiple vendors.
• Excellent stakeholder communication.
• Ability to translate requirements into project plans.
• Mining/resources/utilities environments experience preferred.

Manage the end-to-end delivery of infrastructure and network upgrade projects, from planning and design through to implementation and handover.

Coordinate network infrastructure upgrades, including LAN/WAN, connectivity, hardware refreshes and associated technology improvements.

Work closely with infrastructure engineers, network specialists, vendors and operational stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, resource plans, RAID registers and governance reporting.

Manage third-party vendors, technology suppliers and implementation partners.

Coordinate project activities across Brisbane-based teams and operational stakeholders in PNG.

Minimise operational disruption through effective implementation planning, risk management and stakeholder engagement.

Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, timelines, budgets and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as an IT Infrastructure or Network Project Manager, delivering complex technology upgrades.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking technologies, infrastructure environments and network refresh initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience managing infrastructure deployments across multiple locations or geographically dispersed environments.
• Experience coordinating technical delivery teams, external vendors and infrastructure service providers.
• Strong project governance, financial management, scheduling and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Ability to translate technical requirements into structured project plans and measurable delivery outcomes.
• Experience working within mining, resources, utilities or other operationally complex environments will be highly regarded.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
