Job summary

Holcim Australia, including Humes, is seeking a Project Engineer to support tendering, planning and sourcing for major infrastructure projects in Western Australia. The role emphasizes preparing documentation, assessing drawings, and developing production plans aligned with business targets.

The successful candidate will have an engineering degree, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and familiarity with AutoCAD.

Qualifications

Qualification in Engineering disciplines highly regarded.
Understanding of Mechanical or Civil Engineering principles.
Experience in prestress, precast or reinforced concrete industry preferred or related construction/manufacturing sectors.
Interest in Project Management and delivering projects from infancy to completion.
Strong problem-solving ability and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
AutoCAD – ability to understand drawings.

Responsibilities

Assist with tendering, planning, sourcing and finalising projects according to business vision and goals.
Develop production plans in line with targets and tender requirements.
Tender the supply of precast products to civil infrastructure projects.
Develop estimate and approval documentation during tender phase.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support tender and quotation teams.
Ensure safety and quality management systems are maintained.
Identify and implement improvement initiatives.
