Job summary

Davidson is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement and support enterprise infrastructure across cloud, on-premises and hybrid environments. You will drive security, resilience and alignment with business needs while contributing to projects, upgrades and operational support.

The role requires practical experience with Azure, Windows Server and Linux, plus automation via PowerShell. You will engage with multiple teams and vendors to ensure reliable service delivery and ongoing

Responsibilities

Design, implement, maintain and support enterprise infrastructure across cloud, on-premises and hybrid environments.
Provide technical support and act as an escalation point for complex infrastructure incidents and issues.
Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, capacity and security to maintain stable and reliable services.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues, identify root causes and implement preventative measures.
Deliver infrastructure projects, technology upgrades and lifecycle activities.
Support Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Linux and associated infrastructure platforms.
Develop and maintain infrastructure automation and orchestration solutions using PowerShell and other tools.
Manage infrastructure vendors and service providers to ensure effective service delivery.
Support cybersecurity, vulnerability management, remediation and secure infrastructure practices.
Support disaster recovery, backup and business continuity capabilities.
Contribute to infrastructure and cloud strategy, architecture and technology roadmaps.
Identify opportunities for standardisation, automation, efficiency, reliability and continuous improvement.
Ensure infrastructure practices align with applicable security frameworks, compliance obligations and business risk requirements.
Provide technical leadership, knowledge sharing and mentoring within the technology team.
Participate in critical incident response and out-of-hours support when required.
