Job summary
The BMD Group is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and support IT infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments. You will implement IaC using Terraform, Ansible, and Bicep, while collaborating with remote teams to deliver secure, scalable systems.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and proven experience in infra engineering, with knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP, plus virtualization and networking fundamentals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or similar role.
Responsibilities
- Design scalable and secure IT infrastructure solutions.
- Manage on‑premises servers, networks and cloud resources.
- Develop and maintain IaC scripts using Terraform, Ansible or Bicep.
- Monitor performance and ensure reliability and availability.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and optimise systems.
- Collaborate with DevOps, security and development teams.
- Apply security best practices and compliance protocols.
