Job summary

BMD is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and manage IT infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments. You will develop IaC scripts, monitor performance, and collaborate with remote teams to ensure secure, scalable solutions.

The role emphasizes security practices, cross‑functional collaboration, and continuous improvement in a growing international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of on-premise and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, Bicep).
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, Hyper‑V).
• Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, and security best practices.
• Experience working with remote teams and using remote collaboration tools (Slack, Zoom, Microsoft Teams).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and secure IT infrastructure solutions.
• Manage and maintain on-premises servers, networks, and cloud-based resources.
• Develop and maintain IaC scripts using Terraform, Ansible, or Bicep.
• Monitor system performance to ensure reliability and availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
• Collaborate with DevOps, security, and development teams to integrate and optimise infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain security best practices and compliance protocols.
• Provide technical support and training to internal teams.
• Communicate effectively with remote team members to ensure seamless collaboration and project execution.
• Participate in regular virtual meetings and use collaboration tools to stay connected with the team.
